About me:

Hi my name is Darryl and flyingcows.co.uk is my personal site. Really its a way for me to keep an online presence and to publish work I have been involved in.

A little background on myself:

Between 2003-2005, I attended college to study Business at AVCE level. During this time I ran a small mobile download website, offering a revolutionary video and mp3 ringtone service, giving consumers first time access to multimedia content compatible for the first few 3G handsets available at the time.

After college, I went onto studying Marketing with Advertising Management at Southampton Solent University in 2008, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree. During University I conducted freelance work to supplement my academic teachings, this included work as a Marketing Assistant at RHHALL, where I designed and created marketing literature, along with having involvement with direct mail campaigns.

During University I was also involved in an online student magazine, Solent Riot. This was a company I setup with a business partner. The magazine was launched in 2006 and served the entire Southampton Solent student population.

After leaving University, I started working for a Market Research company specialising in the Healthcare market. Since joining The Research Partnership I have been extensively involved in:

  • Aiding in the development of products for market
  • Designing marketing campaigns
  • Heavy involvement in the creation of internal resources such as CRM, Intranet and a file transfer solution
  • Implementing marketing strategy
  • Brand management
  • Email design
  • Handling client feedback
  • Training
  • Creating marketing literature
  • Building experience documents
  • Production of sales aids
  • Publishing web content
  • Conducting market research
  • Developing an employee awards
  • Designing an e-version of our weekly update for clients
  • Redesigning presentation templates
